Northern Classic Outfitters

Hello,

My name is Steven Gilboe, owner of Northern Classic Outfitters. 17 years ago my wife Deanna, my sons Tim, Ben, Cody and Brandon and myself started our taxidermy and butchering business. (A little side note: Deanna let me pick the name of just one of the boys; I gave my son a true outdoor guy name: CODY like Buffalo Bill Cody, and his middle name is Remington after my deer rifle. Yes as you probably guessed that was the last time I was allowed to have any input on our children’s names.

We have spent years working hard to build our business and after butchering and mounting hundreds of bear, deer, and moose we are excited to now offer our services as guides.

I've been a scout leader, t-ball coach and for the last 12 years a supervisor at a local sawmill so I enjoy interacting with others and am comfortable leading the way.

My family has always loved the outdoors. Whether it is early morning fly fishing on that perfectly calm trout pond, climbing that ridge on the track of a wise old buck or just relaxing by a crackling campfire telling stories about that big fish or how great the big buck looked in the scope, you can always find us out on the trail enjoying nature.

Another passion of mine is cooking. I just refuse to have a soda and a cold bologna sandwich out in the woods or on an ice fishing trip.
I know that great food is another thing people will remember and appreciate about this trip. That little extra effort is just part of the experience I call “THE TOTAL PACKAGE”. Give us a call.
