This allows for easier wintering for the animal without the extra added weight to carry around. A large set of antlers can weigh between 25 and 30 lbs with a spread up to 60 plus inches wide. Quite an inconvenience to carry in the thick brush and deep snow of the wintering grounds. As antlers are dropped we collect them. These are just a few of the gifts we make from them.
