I’ve learned my skills from some great taxidermists I’ve met throughout the years. Sitting through seminars and watching different taxidermists work has given me a chance to try many different styles and techniques. Taking a bit from each teacher I have come up with my own style that I’m comfortable with.

I send all my pelts out to a professional tannery and only use brand name manikins and materials to ensure a quality mount; one that will stand the test of time. I never cut corners to save time or money because it will always show up in the mount.

If after a few years your mount looks very dry or the color has faded, this may be a sign of poor materials or improper tanning. I pledge never to do that, I think it is disrespectful to the animal.

I'll never get rich doing taxidermy but I truly enjoy working with the animals trying to replicate what nature made so perfect.

Fish

Reproduction Bass Mount This is a reproduction bass mount. This allows you to catch and release and you still get a trophy fish.

Deer

Recaped 80 year old deer. This deer was originally shot in the 1930s and was found in an attic. Even though it was in rough shaped it was cleaned, the antlers were refinished and it was recaped. It is now proudly displayed in our client's home.
